OPEN LEVEL: Workouts are a combination of drills, technique instruction, live sparring, and conditioning. Sessions are intense, yet mind set and work ethic are qualities that are more important than experience level.

NOVICE LEVEL:  For wrestlers with 0 to 2 years experience in the sport. Practices feature “functional training” exercises, drills, one to two basic techniques, developmental games, and some sparring. The goal is to create and develop a fundamental foundation. Tournaments are not encouraged. Practices are productive yet fun.

Locations, Dates and Times: All practicess and in person Pre-Registrations are from  6:30pm to 8pm at all sites

EKWC is offered at 3 sites- Each Member will choose a primary practice site -

Tournament Schedule includes local and out-of-town Kansas tournaments, as well as tournaments in Iowa, Okalahoma, and Nebraska.  Competitions are optional.

Quarterly Membership fee for Open: $65/Qurarter. Second sibling $40. Third sibling $20

Yearly Membership fee for Open: $100

One time membership fee for Novice includes USA Membership Card and T-shirt

This fee pays for USA Wrestling Membership Card (required for insurance purposes at practice and competitions. EKWC is a USA Wrestling sanctioned club), Singlet (required for competitions), team shirt and shorts (required for team pictures). NOTE: If you do not need/want an EKWC team singlet subtract $50 from this yearly member fee. If you all ready have a 2009/2010 USA Wrestling Card from another event subtract $35.
